Anyone know what's up with the FOLON See Through Scopes - Patch mod being took down?

I see that the mod author took it down this morning and am curious as to what to do as an alternative? I rely heavily on STS and been having issues all day. I'm assuming the issue is one and the same as the mod authors deciding to take it down due to it not working correctly. 
Any info would be appreciated.

And it has quite a few (weapon) mods that use it. Not really sure if it works with fallout london or not. There is one mod just for fallout london scopes:
