How do I open .me3 files?

Hi everyone, I want to use Mod Engine 3 Manager to manage my mods and open up Nightreign safely without getting banned (I have seamless coop installed).

I have everything set up but there's 2 issues. These issues prevent me from launching Nightreign modded.

1: ME3 CLI: Not Installed. I go to Help, download the the latest installer and then run the installation process, however it still shows up as Not Installed. There weren't any more instructions (neither similar github issues) so I don't know what I'm missing.


2: How do you want to open this .me3 file? Probably related to the first issue, I can't open .me3 files. 


I would greatly appreciate the help. I want to use this to really smooth out the experience a friend and I have playing 2-player.

I'm in the same boat, I ran the "me3 cli latest installer" after downloading it through "mod engine 3 manager help/about" and it's "not installed" no idea why
