Shawak9 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 (edited) A request for a mod that, as mentioned in the title, disables music during exploration in Expedition 33. The music in Expedition 33 is great, but I find it extremely distracting during exploration. All the ambient sounds of the world—the water falls, the chirps of birds—which the sound designers worked so hard to make the world feel grounded, are overshadowed by the "ambient" music in the game. It seems to me that the score was not designed with the ambient sounds of the world in mind. Unlike Elden Ring, RDR 2, or Zelda, the music overpowers everything, and it doesn't take much for it to become repetitive, and in my case, annoying and immersion-breaking. The moment I turned off the music volume, I was instantly engrossed in the world. I started hearing all the environmental sounds that were masked by what was supposed to be "ambient" music. But fiddling with the menu before and after every enemy encounter is too cumbersome and a disservice to the game. I hope some modder understands this and makes a mod that disables music during exploration; it would be greatly appreciated. Edited July 7 by Shawak9 Forgot to mention the name of the game.
