mod deploying to game.

hi i put together a new pc an did up a D drive to put my games.  they load an play from there fine.  but when i tried the vortex mod loader at first it wouldnt deploy the mods an threw the mod loader i set up a folder on the D drive for it an it put the mods there an said deplored to the game.  but then i go to play the game the mods are not there.  i dont see what i am missing for the mods to load right to the games what am i missing.    the only thing on the D drive is my steam library an the vortex mods folder  thanks.  jeff

What game are you talking about?

i was doing skyrim threw steam.  it running fin from my D drive but the mods from the vortex mods are not on it

For all Gamebryo engine games, like Skyrim and Fallout 4, you must have the mod staging folder for Vortex and the game installation folder on the same disk.

Sounds like you have Vortex folders on C Drive, while the game is on D Drive. This prevents Vortex from deploying mods, and therefore the game cannot load them.

yes at first it was on the c drive an would not deploy so i put it on the d drive an it said deploy so there both on the d drive but when i go to run skyrim the mods are not there an not shore what i am missing or just have to restart the mods.   like one mod is a waight mod but not in the game.    an thanks for the help so far.
