Battle Scars!...Or Sunburn!...Or Maybe Post-Trauma Monocular V

I've got Blockhead, I've read the comments, but I've yet to see something greater being done with it.

What am I talking about?

Why, battle damage of course!

Imagine taking damage from a blade, and see the laceration!

Imagine visible bruising from blunt impact!

Black or reddish skin from burns!

Paleness from frost damage!

Diseased looking skin from...well....diseases!

And it gets better!

Use the already many injury simulation out there and implement this, and add in some form of visible permanent damage....

Now your characters will not just be blind in one eye for cosmetic reasons! They'll actually be blind in one eye!

Like maybe a head wound from a boss battle was not treated in time, lose an eye, or ear!

And if we want to be super duper uber immersive realistic, get sunburned or tanned!

But...this most likely will never see the light of day, seeing that it requires someone to script, someone to make the textures, and a buttload of playtesting to iron out those pesky alpha release bugs....

I can only hope.....

My Goodness, you have left me panting and drooling before all those posibilities!

Truth is, Blockhead did not came to general attention until Nuska implemented it on OCO v2 and people started to understand what is possible to do with Blocks. And since the release ofo OCO v2, the increased attention to Blockhead as vigorized its development and its latest version is the most powerful and versatile to date.

It's a matter of time until experienced modders start publishing plug-ins and mods taking advantage of the power of Blockhead. Just be patient, my children.

And never lose hope.

Cheers!

PD: Last night I read a comment saying that Oblivion will soon become completely outdated and left behind. Ha! In the past two months, I have seen an increase in the activity and modding for Oblivion greater than in the previous six months. I dare to foretell that in another six months, Oblivion will be something we never saw before.

Kadzooks, if you'r planning on scripting things, I suggest you to grab the Construction Set Extended, not the regular one.

I don't know how to script, by the way.A

Cheers!
