Killslasher
The title explains it all. I am missing the video's for TES3 Morrowind. A few months ago, I bought the PC-GAMER TES3 GOTY Edition. The only difference that PC-GAMER makes is that it doesn't come with a manual, the cover has PC-GAMER logo's etc. And the before you open the installation window, there's some PC-GAMER window before it. The first time I installed it, everything was fine. Later, I got hungry over HDD space (I an old 40GB HDD.), and uninstalled it. The next time I installed it, the game was fine, except (Obviously), I was missing a few video files. I am only missing the vanilla morrowind video files. I have filenames in the video folder that go along the lines of "ceremony", "werewolf", "bearhunt", and "frost giant". Those of which I assume belong to the GOTY edition. I also have some file named "bm_endgame.bik" file. If someone could please send me the vanilla morrowind video files, I would be very pleased. That, or if I could skip it. (In the TES4 Oblivion ini, I could just modify the filenames that play at the beginning. In this however, I tried to modify those same values, but it still asks for the videos.) Thanks for your time. LordTenaim
I have had the same trouble as has my sister but this is after we installed mwse onn our copies is possible that something else has caused the files to be lost as the other files you mention as still having are the ones when doing bloodmoon as a werewolf. what mods have you got and do you have mwse? Killslasher
I have had the same trouble as has my sister but this is after we installed mwse onn our copies is possible that something else has caused the files to be lost as the other files you mention as still having are the ones when doing bloodmoon as a werewolf. what mods have you got and do you have mwse? By "mwse" you mean Morrowind Script Extender right? I only installed what was on the disc. In order from first to last it was "TES3 Morrowind", "TES3 Morrowind Construction Set", "Tribunal", "Bloodmoon". Completely clean install, no mods, no script extender. Also, I checked to make sure that Tribunal or Bloodmoon didn't cause the files to be lost. After installing vanilla morrowind and it's construction set, I browsed the "Morrowind/Data Files/Video" folder, and nope, the video's weren't there. Then I continued the installation. :( And remember, as I said before, I received the game in some "PC-Gamer" disc and case, and I had the videos before. Here are the contents of my video folder, in case it matters. Also, I would prefer to not have to watch the video's at all. My computer does a horrible job at processing bik files. So if any of you could, I would be pleased to not have to watch the movies. EDIT Nevermind. I browsed the internet a bit longer, and I heard that you can explore the disc, and there would most likely be a folder with the videos inside it. To my surprise, it was THAT EASY. Although I am still confused as to why the movie files transferred themselves on to my hard drive the first installation, but not any other times. Thanks anyways!
