Pineapplerum
I had to reinstall Windows and when I loaded my back up for my Oblivion game-everything came back as normal except the SI Summon abilities I received for completing missions.I can no longer summon the Golden Saints, Dark Seducers or the big, stitched up guy ( I can never remember what they're called. ) The missions are still seen as completed so it's not like I can redo the missions to receive them again.I really miss being able to summon them. *sigh*Does anyone know what I can do to get those summon abilities back? My character doesn't have much magic power so she's not able to summon anything except with those scroll things. The gifts/rewards of receiving those summon spells were the only way my character could get to summon creatures without the ability to do so running out. Please, someone help me get those summon spells back. bben46
When you install SI, it actually makes changes in the Oblivion file. So if you remove anything, you must reinstall everything again. Start with Oblivion. start the game and make a save - this creates the Oblivion.ini and initializes stuff. Then install SI and start the game and make a save - this updates both the Oblivion file and the Ini. Then install the latest SI patch. DO NOT USE THE OBLIVION PATCH. Now make any changes to the .ini KOTN and the other DLCs are just another set of mods, but SI is a real upgrade to the game.Reinstalling by using the disk does not remove either your mods or save games.
