A plea for a little help regarding grey faces and neck seams

Hi guys. Everything is performing very nicely now, my game has not crashed after maybe 10 hours play yesterday and getting nice performance using RealVision ENB and 95% of the suggested mods on SkyrimTuners page. But i do have an issue with face textures on both my character and all NPC's. They are either grey in the face, others like the children are incredibly bright and we all have neck seams. This is the most annoying for me as it's the character look which I enjoy the most. I'm using CBBE but not using any face retexture mods like Pretty Face, Bella Women or Coverwomen. I'm using the 3 Better Male files also.

Take a peek at a few screenshots of what I'm talking about. Hopefully you know how I can fix it. I apologise for the breast show but I wanted to show the neck seam on my character.

Gray face is caused by a mod making changes to a character that are not exported properly so that the game can find them. To fix this load CK Select the character from the Actor Tree, in your case Gurder (sp). Press [Ctrl] then press F4. Ok, Yes to all (if errors popup) and Ok to done. Now the face files are in the Data_Meshes_Actors_Character_Facegendata_Facegeom_Modname-or-Skyrim.esm and Data_Textures_Actors_Character_Facegendata_Facetint_Modname-or-Skyrim.esm directory trees. Repeat this process for each modified character. You can do them all at once by using CTRL click. Then CTRL F4.

You can then recreate the folder tree from Data for the meshes and textures and place the data folder on your desktop. Each mesh and texture folder must copy the tree to the mod folder exactly. Then run Archive.exe from the Skyrim main directory, Edit_Addfolder select the data folder on the desktop and save as a BSA file for the mod. This makes the entries in the Skyrim Data folder redundant and they can be deleted.

As far as the lines of the head not matching the body, this is caused by an installed body mod. CBBE has a program that is installed under Data_CalienteTools_TexBlendLite called Texblend.exe that fixes this for the CBBE Body. I assume, but do not know, that other body mods must have similar neck fix options.

As for a gap between the neck and the body. This is caused by a discrepancy between what your savegame thinks the character weighs and what the mod says the character weighs. For example if a mod changed Gurder's weight from say 50 to 100 and you have already met Gurder, she will have a gap between her neck and body. A possible fix for this is to get well away from the NPC so you are out of their zone, deactivate the mod, make a clean save (F5 F9 ESC Save, exit, reload), wait for 31 game days, reinstall the mod and return to the character . I have heard, but am not sure, that this will clear the characters info from your save game so that when you meet them again your save game and the mod will agree on the character weight.
