Q: Adding skill conditions to Terminal options

Hi there lovely people, you all deserve millions for the holy works of Fallout mods!

QUESTION:

How do I add a skill condition to a Terminal option in FNVEdit or GECK?

 

EXAMPLE:

 

Welcome, chief!,

----------------------

 

[] Mail

 

[] Download data [50 science required]

 

[] Back

First of all, you'd want to use the GECK for this sort of thing.

 

Add a condition to the relevant option:

Select GetActorValue from the Condition Function dropbox; select Science from Function Parameters; select >= from Comparison; set Value to 50; select Reference from Run On; click Select, then select PlayerRef from Ref (the Cell doesn't matter) and you're done.
