Heyy!

I'm new to modifications and Nexus and I would like some input, I have downloaded like 35 files and would like a quick suggestion on the fastest way to install them without any trouble.

Thanks for the input!

use Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM): http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640

you will also need FalloutScriptExtender (FOSE), if you haven't already installed it: http://fose.silverlock.org/

general rule of thumb for the FOMM load-order is:

Fallout3.esm - First (top)

All your other .esm plugins - Next (after FO3.esm)

All your .esp plugins - Last (bottom)

with FOMM and FOSE installed, tick all the boxes and click "Launch FOSE"...

(i realise i am leaping ahead of where you asked help for, but i guesstimate that by the time you read this you will have answered enough questions to need this answer)

My turn to agree with Verbal Earthworm =P

In case he did get ahead of you tho, everything you download (with some exceptions) goes into your \data folder. I.E. Textures, Meshes, Sound, etc. Generally, when you dl something, the author should have had it set up in it's proper folder structure already, but it's a good habit to check everything before you install it, just to make sure it doesn't end up in the wrong place. Otherwise, everything Verbal said just about covers it.

I also highly recommend ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated!: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944

and setting bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 in your Fallout.ini (generally found inside your \MyGames\ folder).

Hope this helps ^^
