Thandal
I'd like to see Daggerfall be turned into something closer to the new games: smaller and more compact, with hand-made quests and dungeons and cities and everything. Or am I speaking blasphemy? So, are you volunteering to do so? Or are you simply making a generic "Mod Request"?
mlee3141
Some modder already opened up some parts of High Rock in Skyrim.

And I know so little of the more obscure parts of the lore, and haven't even managed to play Daggerfall too far myself, that I'd probably just muck it up anyway. I realize it'd be kind of a huge project, on a near-Skywind level, and that a lot of people other than me would probably not even want it, so yeah. But there's no harm in asking. bben46
For anyone that really doesn't know - We support ANY game that can be modded. Just upload a mod for that game and a new section will be added - it may take a few days to get approved, but Daggerfall would be acceptable - IF you can make a real mod for it. Here is the instruction and add a game page. http://www.nexusmods.com/games/mods/uploadwizard/? The only catch? You have to actually upload a real mod. The reason for this - to keep from being flooded by games that cannot actually be legitimately modded and by wishful thinkers trying to get some game they think someone else will nod for them. Why do we have to wait for it to be approved? Again to keep out unmoddable games, and to prevent multiple sections for the same game. The submitted mod will be looked at to be sure it is a legitimate mod and not a WIP or just an idea or request for a mod. Those can be put in the General Gaming > PC games section of the forums already.
Shagdizzle
With the release of Daggerfall as a free download from Bethesda, would it make sense to start a Daggerfall modding section here? A quick Google search indicates there's some stuff out there already, and it seems likely that the free release will renew interest in the mod scene for this classic game. What do you guys think? Is it worth doing?I think it is and why not make mods for arena also? That would be sweet. Kinda annoyed at all the blind comments from those who probably don't even know how a mod for a game is even made.

Almost every game out there can be modded since windows '95 but anything before that u might want a rain check

Modding Daggerfal should just be like adding more stuff to enlarge the game like the other modded elderscrolls
conius7
To remake Daggerfall in FULL 3D it'd cost loads of meomory, the only reason that Daggerfall is even runable on Modern computers is because of the Graphics. However If someone were to remake it with wen Morrowinds engine, They'd need a nobel prize.
