Stampede
Knocko had to think fast... He bursts into a violent coughing fit and begins clutching and clawing at his own chest, in the hopes that the doctor will drop his guard and approach close enough for Knocko to grab out and put a strangle hold on his throat, before punching the doc out with the other hand. Probably not the safest plan of action, considering where they were, but time was not on Knockos side.
Captain Andy
Travis was trying to hold himself as still as possible. He didn't know what to think when Knocko threw himself into the coughing fit. Come on, gotta think fast, can't let Knocko get stabbed or something, gotta watch his back. Travis sat motionless and waited to see what the doctor's next move was. PurpleXVI
As soon as Knocko started coughing, the doctor dropped the fearsome-looking device and ran towards him, obviously intent on helping. He didn't get a chance, though, before a large hand had a hold on his throat and another delivered a vicious punch to the side of his head. The old man became as limp as a rag doll and fell to the floor as his legs gave out. No one seemed to have noticed, though, as no guards came charging in through the door to his rescue. Candiru One left his hiding place and checked for a pulse, "He's out cold, but he'll probably live," he told Knocko, then handed him and Travis their guns, "Good act, mind you, it got us inside. How should we proceed from here on?"
Captain Andy
"Well, I propose we try and find the control room One mentioned, even though we have no clue where it's at. Do you think there'd be some sort of indication in the room here?" Travis took a look around, ignoring the tons upon tons of medicines and medical equipment, looking for a sign or map to indicate how they could get there. Evilsincarnation
Arodom also got from his hiding space and walked up to the group. "I guess we could ask a guard, just have to fond a way to get a drop on him."
Stampede
"When this doctor wakes up, we're going to have problems...I feel like a real male without a father doing this, but..." Knocko trailed off as he began looking for a means to tie up and gag the good doctor, before stuffing him into a cabinet or cupboard or even under a blanket. He was not proud of it, but there did not seem to be much choice.
PurpleXVI
Knocko eventually found some long, thin plastic tubes used for IV's. A handful of those served well for tying up the doctor, and those along with a short, rounded plastic beaker allowed him to improvise a ball-gag before finding a large enough cupboard and shoving the still-limp man in. "Well, I'm sure that someone is going to come along and check up on the doctor and us at some point," One told Arodom, "We could just wait here and take them down, non-lethally of course, when they arrive. Or if you're not afraid of risking a shot, you could go out and lure someone here." While Knocko was setting the doctor up with some gimp-gear and Candiru One was conversing with Arodom about how they could convince a guard to help them, Travis was searching the medical bay. He turned up nothing until he started going through the doctor's desk, at which point he found both a holographic map of the facility and the man's laptop. The laptop was still plugged into the base's wireless network.
Captain Andy
Travis smiled happily at his find. "Got us a map, guys." He downloaded the map to his PDA. He looked through the laptop for patrol times and some of the security measures they would be dealing with. His thoughts of hacking and subverting the security were beginning to change. "Hey guys? Want me to see if I can hack whatever automated defenses and cameras they have? It might not be too great of an idea, it's damn risky. There's a good chance of us getting caught, but it's up to you all."
Stampede
"Excellent, I think it's time we beat it. Who knows when guards might show up here? Sure we could jump them, but if more are just going to come after them, what's the point? Unless you want what they're carrying."
PurpleXVI
"If you can shut down any cameras they have, I think that'll be a good idea," said One, "Bright as I am, I forgot that we might have wanted something like ski masks to keep anonymous. Kn- Candiru Two has a point, by the way," he added, "We need to get moving. Even if we're not sure what we're going to do, we should find a better place to hide while we figure out a plan of action." Then the operative checked the air vent in a corner of the room. Looking around, Arodom grabbed a bunch of surgical masks and handed them to the others, "Better than nothing, right?" While searching through the computer, Travis found that the various guard changes would make the control room most approachable two hours into the three-hour sandstorm. So if they could find a place to hide till then, and didn't mind having only an hour to do the job and get out again, that was probably the safest. As if they were trapped in some sort of bad action movie, the air vents were also large enough to accomodate people. Though this was for maintenance reasons so personnel could climb in and fix problems without having to disassemble the entire thing. The air vents went to most parts of the base, but the constructors not being idiots, only passages too small for full-grown adults to climb through provided access to the really important areas, like the control room, the base's power plant and the barracks. (OOC: EvilsIncarnation is busy for the next two weeks or so. Unless he posts, Arodom is under my control.)
