tlc279124
Try typing toggleborders into the console, perhaps you're crashing between grid transitions?Could very well be a stability issue as much as a compatibility issue.Btw, you forgot to clean one of your plugins. :smile:Yeah I wasn't using that one at the moment, so I didn't bother cleaning it. What will toggleborders do? And is it a fix, or what? First, make a back-up of your Skyrim.ini file. Then open said file and enter this to the Papyrus section: [Papyrus]bEnableLogging=1bEnableTrace=1bLoadDebugInformation=1Where does the log save to? So after doing both of these at the same time, editing the .ini, and then toggling the borders on and then back off, there wasn't a crash and I managed to run from Morthal to Whiterun and save. SO, now I guess I just have to see how long it takes to crash I guess, and then go from there. Any other suggestions would be nice as I'm sure this hasn't been solved yet. Skateboards
And is it a fix, or what? toggleborders does what it says it does. :PIt toggles grid borders. Each time you walk over a border, Skyrim renders a new grid in front of you and 'unrenders' the a grid behind you.uGridsToLoad is a command in your ini that lets you set how many square grids around you are loaded.Perhaps the engine is just derping when you try to load a new grid? You can test this by walking through particular problem areas. For example, Riverwood has pretty poor performance compared to other areas of the game. You should try this:1) Walk around in a building and see if you crash, if not:2) Walk around in a town (Whiterun, Markath, anywhere with a load screen) and see if you crash, if not:3) Walk around the plains outside of Whiterun, there are no trees so there's not much to render in the grids, if still no crashing:4) Type TCL into the console, then fly up a bit and type player.setav speedmult 30. Fly around the map. If you crash, it's more likely than not a stability issue.
