might be me skroo's talking about in his refrence "joining projects that are massive in scope" the one im doing sometimes looks to big for me at times? haha "see screen".

i need nether 3d models or the hard stuff "iv got everything i need" "i think" i was just takeing from your 1st post that you might be wanting to join a mod. your obviously free to join or do what you want with your time.

 

yes mine is 3x bigger & will probably be more than that of any of the dlc's released. but thats what im doing with my time. iv got someone else working on this to & another body will be more than welcome.

 

hears some info & a couple of random screens i had kicking about.

 

30 new & unique wepons,

3 new & unique armours "probably more",

new clothing,

2 factions,

1 creature faction 2 creatures,

3 new locations 2 new world spaces & a moon mission?,

massive quest with multiple side quests

unique rewards for certin acheivements.

 

sofar in total iv estimated it at over 10hours minimum gameplay time & have writen the story so that it is a minimum of 10hours.

 

as i said before "be warned this is a major project"

The GECK is just an overglorified mesh-placing-suite with some database editing on the side. The real juicey stuff happens in the 3d creation and nif stages. Geck is only where it all comes together.

I expect that is your honest opinion, but I think it is kind of funny. It is a bit like saying that a movie script is less important than pretty actors and special effects. Some people believe that as well, though. I'm sure that Transformers 2 gets many more hits than The Seven Samurai.

 

To me "where it all comes together" is the Christmas tree and the meshes, sounds and effects are only the ornaments. But that is just my opinion. I'd be happy to see more emphasis on good story telling. The Lord of the Rings has to be my favorite fantasy movie because it has it all: great story, great actors, great sets and great special effects. I could easily watch a great movie with a good story and no splashy effects though, while I have walked out on special effects orgies with no plot.

@Badpenny i didnt see Transformers2 yet... no real interest in seeing it either, ill rent it when it comes out...In comparison to a real editor like UnrealEd or Radiant, Geck is just an IMac of editors. A 'decoration placer' with a few extra features.
