looking for a specific exterior cell

hi there,

im trying to locate a specific exterior cell in the wasteland (that i have not yet been to in my game)

but since it does not have anything major on it, i believe it to be one of the generically named cells in the geck.

 

and unfortunately the fallout wiki map does not follow the same coordinate system as the geck

 

are there any console commands or otherwise that would give me the name or coordinates of a specific cell?

Find neighboring non generic cell move over until you find you one you want? If there is a better solution I too would like to hear of it.

Try looking at the pip-boy map, then open this grid map in a web browser to approxiamte your whereabouts. The coordinates on that grid map is accurate with exterior cell coordinates in GECK.

 

After finding the approximate coordinates, you could check that by using [ coe x,y ] console command. If it does not transport you to a different exterior cell, then you're standing on the same coordinates as you approximated in the map.

 

For better approximation, you could use this enlarged in-game map for reference (the coordinates on the enlarged in-game map is off, though).
