sonicwarhawk Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 hello all welcome to my nightmare! first im not a stranger to modding but still learning a few bits about oblivion.heres the skinny....... i just rebuilt my pc{motherboard meltdown] i had oblivion on it before but it was a downloaded version. i had obmm on it like any body with greymatter.so silly me i lost the product key and decided just to go get a hard copy of gotye so i loaded the new one on to the pc everything runs great. and strage enough obmm was there as if it never left{keep in mind i didnt install it} well i thought somthing was fishy with that so i uninstalled oblivion and obmm.then reinstalled oblivion. no obmm this time. i think ok! great now i start from scratch. i go get obmm from timeslip {installer v.}and try to install. heres where it gets goofy.it installs..... it goes to the oblivion file, it puts a icon on my desk. but when you try to run obmm ......NOTHING HAPPENS i get the little hourglass after ckicking it for a fraction of a second but nothin' i bin screwing with this for 2 days. im at my wits end.oblivion is the new version.obmm is the new. any help?????sonic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BadPrenup Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 huh that is strange... of course if you are using the same hard drive and just replaced the motherboard it doesnt surprise me that it would show up again... but OBMM not opening is strange... XJDHDR Posted July 19, 2009 Share Posted July 19, 2009 Sorry for the late reply. My siblings have been hogging the computer for the last 3 days. I have taken a screenshot of my OBMM folder. Here it is: The Backup and Corrupt folders aren't there in a normal installaion. They're only there because I use the OMOD feature extensively.
