Quest Mod Suggestiont: The Count of Chorrol

I read the messages during the loading sequences. So I noticed that the first Count of Chorrol was appointed for Heroism at Pale Pass, However in the quest, Akivari Artifacts (or something similar) the ruler in Bruma sends you to find Pale Pass which was never located. How is it that the Count was appointed for heroism in a battle at a place that was never found?

Suggestion, someone good at storyline development and quest building, build a quest to resolve this inconsistency. Perhaps the reward could be that the first Count was a fraud and his family is deposed because of it. Martin, as Emperor, can then appoint the player as Count for exposing the fraud and appoint a regent because you are needed to complete the main quest. Or, you really didn't find Pale Pass but another location and the ruler in Bruma is part of a conspiracy. Like I said, someone good at developing a storyline.

Why don't I do it? Because, I am currently working on other mods and remodelling my house so won't have time to work on this for a year or more.

Maybe the count of chorrol never told anyone WHERE it is, so people just counted Pale Pass as something "unfindeable".

Oh, and besides, wasn't it a count of Bruma that got crowned because of the Pale Pass incident...?

Uhm... I don't think lying about the victory of Pale Pass is enough to lose his job as Count of Chorrol!

And plus, how could Martin Septim make you Count when he dies at the end of the main questline?
