KloHunt3r
I've been modifying my game to grant power armor-users more protection. All power armors have had their DR increased to 75-85, and all NPC's have their power armor at 75-95% condition. This has resulted in them being able to take far more hits, but I've been noticing some strange side-effects that have left me confused on how DR works. 1. Is there a limit on how much DR a single character can have? I recall hearing that the cap was 85, but I have been hearing modifications talking about larger numbers. 2. When firing a weapon at a power armor-equipped enemy, the first few shots don't seem to do any damage at all, but after the first burst of fire they will begin to lose health. Is this due to the degradation of the armor's health? Because after they are killed, their power armor is still at a very high repair level, and I'm wondering what's causing their momentary invulnerability. ElijahHouck
The vanilla DR cap is 85%. I'm sure there probably are mods that raise said cap, since there are mods for virtually everything. I don't know what's causing the "momentary invulerability," but you could try poking around in the GECK ;) .
Skree000
was your enemy who seemed to be invulnerable a random monster/enemy like a raider or something? or was it a named (ie. special) npc. Some npcs are harder to kill ive noticed, maybe its just because they have more health than regular npcs... (i mean like Jericho, takes like 4 full AK clips in the face to kill him)
