Screwbie
Hello, I'm having some trouble creating mods and am wondering whether anyone could shed some light for me. I've been following the brilliant guides on the 'Construction Set wiki' in order to create, so far from scratch, meshes in Blender followed by creation of textures in GIMP and Nifskope; this I have found to be my problem. Having mapped the UV of the mesh and moved it into GIMP, I can find no way of 'splitting' the map into the sections such that I can apply the different required textures to each. I am so far able only to apply one texture to every surface of the mesh which, of course, is no good. I apologise for my facility if such is the case, and would welcome any advice. Many thanks, Screwb
PacificMorrowind
one trishape/strip = one texture, no way to get around that in oblivion/morrowind. What I do (note: I'm not a great texturer but I'm okay) is make the model, then uvmap it so it is relatively easy to texture, export the map and then draw stuff onto a different layer looking at the map superimposed on my drawing surface for ease. Good Luck.Pacific Morrowind
