chupamaflabla
Ok i have a dual monitor setup and when oblivion launches (fullscreen) my computer automatically "clicks" the desktop, taking the program out of fullscreen for a second, which causes oblivion to encounter an error, which happens anytime you select another program. And when I go into windowed mode, it puts it right at the left corner of my screen 1. Its quite a large screen, and with the default resolution I wasn't even able to read any of the menus. I do know that I can change the resolution to whatever I want either through the ini file or the video menu, but I would like to move its position from the top left corner of screen 1 to a pseudo fullscreen on screen 2. I cant move the window because it doesn't let the mouse cursor leave the window. Is there anyway to move it while its in windowed mode or, preferably, to stop it from closing out when i leave its window? (sorry if this has been posted before :whistling: ) :thanks: for any help! bben46
As far as I know this is a new problem.I use dual monitors and have never had this happen. On mine, I cannot use the secondary monitor when playing. I do play in full screen. However, The game 'locks' my secondary monitor. I usually just turn it off when playing. The game closing or CTD is common when attempting to tab out of the game. Mine crashed over 90% of the time using XP. It has not crashed at all when tabbing out since changing to Win7 x64. However, it does minimize even though the program I want to use is on my second monitor. I can now tab out to take calls on Skype, then return to the game when the call is finished. Are you using any programs to control or manage your dual screen setup? I use the free version of Multimon. It dosn't seem to cause any problems. chupamaflabla
Hmm, I'm running win7 RC x64 too, and I'm not using any program to manage them (minus default stuff that windows does on its own). Not sure if this is important or not, but when i launched it for the first time it did the "click" thing and before that the wall paper got really, really small and the rest of the screen was black. My ultimate goal was to be able to tab about like you do with different games, so I think I'll try multimon out and see if that makes any difference. bben46
It may also have something to do with your video card and drivers. I have a Nvidia 7600GT and am using the newest version of the drivers.
chupamaflabla
I'm using an nvidia 8800 GS with latest drivers (186, release date 6/18/09) I can use it in windowed mode but I still don't like the position since its way to my left, but will work until it gets fixed.
