Oblivon Crashes when I unequip my Ebony boots

At first I thought it happened due to how I was using a sigil stone to enchant them, but as it turns out merely unequipping the boots causes a ctd. How do I go about fixing this? Here is my load order:

I sometimes have issues with equipping and unequipping custom armours that result in game crashing, especially armours that I've monkeyed around with. ;)

It's possible that a mod might have modified the vanilla armours and your games doesn't like it... don't know.

What I usually do in this situation is start disabling mods to narrow down the culprit if any. The standard process of elimination.
