replacing textures on Xp

By nothing happens, do you mean that the teslaarmor.dds and teslahelmet.dds do not copy/move over to your data\textures\armor\teslapowerarmor\.. directory?

Having XP should make things easier for you (Since 'Vista' tries to make important decisions for you).

Try selecting the two DDS files that you need to move, CTRL+C them, and then navigate to data\textures\armor\teslapowerarmor\.. and CTRL+V them in, and see if that works. Make sure you have ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated installed as well, or FO3 will not even attempt to load your textures (Your screenshot doesn't show ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated, which it should, from my knowledge).

Let me know how that goes and I will assist you if it does not work still.

You can't just add in a new folder and expect the game to automatically detect it, you have to go in the GECK, download, go to file>data, and check Fallout3.esm.

Once you're inside the GECK, with the main files and ect, you need to the object window, and then go to Items>Armor> whichever list you'd like, in this case you want to go to the branch with Tesla armour, which is "EnclavePowerArmor". Once you have clicked it, right click on "ArmorTeslaHelmet", choose edit, once it opens another window inside click on "Biped model" and then choose the texture set.

Alternatively, you can just simply go into the original folder, and copy and paste over the original textures with your own, if this sounds too difficult.
