Errornamenotfound Posted February 6, 2014 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Ok I've been browsing the site for mods that allow the player to choose not to kill paarthurnax and still get dragon hunting quests from Esbern. Even got one of those mods myself. But won't it be easier to just edit the quest a little so you can talk to Paarthurnax and Arngeir to hear their sides of the story, then choose between killing Paarthurnax or returning to Delphine and LIE to her? Just add the dialogue option that tells Delphine that Paarthurnax is dead (lie) and everything can proceed as normal. Like the dark brotherhood quest The Cure For Madness. I think this would be a smoother conclusion to the quest. The mod I got - The Paarthurnax Dilemma - added the option to refuse, which is good, but what follows is a lot of silence (not sure if it's because there's no extra audio recorded, or if the audio did not work).
