i have an idea but idk how ppl will like it. i had an idea for making a mod that adds a shop or being a messenger or even a mercenary organization (where it wont require fose) that wood build a certain amount of profit depending on the amount of work u do or (for the store) what u sell. Like oblivion has a mod called Delivery job where u get paid by delivering packages Link:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8520 and another mod called Pats Business Mod Shopkeeper where u own a shop and make a profit Link:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9310and another one that adds a mine that u can own and the more workers u have the more profit u get its called Miners N Pickaxes Link: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18797 . and then add the delivery HQ or the shop to either Rivet city or Megaton and Tenpenney tower. and the one problem i have is i have no idea how to make it so someone wood have to make it.

Don't know if this would be of any interest, but this is what I am currently working on

You get to farm stuff, raise animals, as well as collect stories for the Library and search for rare items for the General Store

I may add more as I go along

Not exactly what you are talking about, but you may want to take a look

A Shop keeping mod would be neat, especially if well made to suit roleplayers.

Say you are keeping a shop and sells guns and other items...

At times, thieves might come in and steal your merchandise, so then upgrading the shop with security features would be necessary.

Then when you expand your shop, your able to stock more items because of the expanded shop's size.

A built in feature could be a chance/percentage base system linked to time of day and days of a week.

So selling a expensive weapon might have a low chance of it being sold, since it cost more, but far better off sold on a weekday than on weekends, for example.

And since this is the wastelands, any thieves that attempt to steal your items, you have the rights to steal it back via whatever means necessary...

A fun quest to link to these, have other merchants compete with you, with whatever means they use to get YOU out of business...

I like this idea, maybe as well, you can upgrade the safe that holds the items so that it's harder to break into, like, when you get the shop, every is like very easy difficulty to break into. But then you can upgrade the safe to harder difficulties, Also the door into your shop for when you are closed. As well as maybe hire a mercenary like Moira has in her shop.

I like this idea! :D

Instead of doing this only near Tenpenny or Megaton, it would be funny to open shops in Takoma Park, Georgetown, Dupont and those places, where you have to clear out the muties and then people move in there and you can open shops...If you own all these shops you can make alot of money!! :D :P

As said you can hire mercenaries and maybe even make a deal with Lyons to send BoS soldiers there :P :D

You can hire people and pay them as well...Maybe this is like the shopkeeping request but still pretty cool:p

Its not perfect, but it is quite fun!!
