benny00000
I am glad I am not the only one who has been having issues getting this mod to work. Ive spent roughly 12+ hours trying to get it to work. Here is what I did (Keep in mind this is my first time modding ever): I reinstalled fallout 3 & removed all mods related to my previous attempts. Updated Version to 1.6 1. Installed fomm 2. Installed ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated 3. Installed TYPE3_BODY_V3dot5-4280 4. Installed TYPE3_V2_TEXTURE_pack-4280 5. I then copied the "meshes" folder out of TYPE3 BERRY BODY FOLDER, located in the TYPE3_BODY_V3dot5-4280 folder I just copied over & put it into the data folder. 6. I then copied the "textures" folder located in TYPE3 V2 TEXTURE pack -> TYPE3 V2 TEXTURES & put it into the data folder. So basically there are 2 new folders I am looking at in my data folder. They are meshes & textures, neither of which prompted me to overwrite any data. I moved the necessary files into the texture file as requested by the readme. ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated is already running When I load up the game nothing happens. No changes at all. Do I need to be doing something in fomm for this to work? Like selecting certain files in the package manager & activate them? Do I need to have GECK installed? I am at a loss right now. I have looked through almost all 1000 comments to find hints/help & there really isn't any.
Liquidpinky
You need to start the archive invalidated then click activate button.
benny00000
You need to start the archive invalidated then click activate button. Everyone keeps saying that but it is already running. Its a one time thing right? Once I activate it, I should never have to activate it again correct?
katsu4649
That's correct. Would you mind either putting a screen-shot (Pictures make things so easy) or at least type out the paths to your femaleupperbody.nif and upperbodyfemale.dds? For example:C:\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\textures\Characters\female\upperbodyfemale.ddsC:\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\meshes\characters\_male\femaleupperbody.nifAlso, just make sure that your FALLOUT.ini located in C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\FALLOUT.ini has the correct changes made (Archive invalidation should have done it, but just in case:http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b346/katsuakimoto/Invalidation.png

I am not seeing the FALLOUT.ini file that you are referring to. I have ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated installed, but it is saved to my desktop. Is that what is causing issues? Stroye
My Misc-Meshes-Textures-Sound are still BSA File how do I get them to change to Besthesda File Archive that is the only thing i see is diff from our Data File and might be the biggest reason the mod is not working for me Thanks
katsu4649
Your files actually look like they are all in the right spot. When you log into the game, and remove all your clothes, your character is not naked? If you are able to start the game, what does your character look like when you have no armor equipped?
