xxpredatorrockxx
For awhile I've been trying to mod Skyrim and only 2 or 3 mods actually work like Leveler's Tower. Mods like 2K HD Textures and Macho Dragons I've attempted over and over again to fix. No matter what method I use for installation whether it being NMM, Manual with WinRAR, or download to desktop and then add to NMM I just can't get it to work and show up in Data Files. I have read about UAC (Think that's what it's called) so I moved my Steam Install out of program files and that didn't fix anything. PLEASE HELP I'M GETTING REALLY TIRED OF MODS NOT WORKING. eSoDian
Those mods you are mentioning that don't show up in Data Files, they never will cause they are replacers of vanilla textures and don't require an .esp/.esm plugin for them to work. markus242005
Texture replacement mods generally have no esp, thus won't show up in Data Files menu. Have you checked in game to see if they're working. Bear in mind, 2k textures and HD mods that only change vanilla textures can be hard to tell whether they've changed anything or not as you have nothing to compare side by side, only your memory of what the game look liked previously. xxpredatorrockxx
One more question: What about some ENB mods like Realvision and Project ENB? I tried those too
markus242005
Generally speaking, ENB's will modify the enblocal.ini and enblocal.fx files but will not add a plug in. If you are wondering whether they are working, enter console with ~ then hit Shift+Enter and see if the in game ENB editor comes up. If it does, ENB is working, if it doesn't, you installed it wrong OR in some cases (specifically certain Realvision options) UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true <---- this is set to true, so you're essentially negating any reason to have ENB installed, as it's disabling all the graphical tweaks to gain you more performance.
