mkta
Hello, I update NMM and it doesn't show me the lastest verion for mods and the exclamation mark for them. I enabled the mod update warning for all files but after 10 minutes of loading something ( i have lots of mods) nothing changed. I even reinstalled NMM. Also it doesn't allow me to use an older version, something about not supported anymore. Edit: Also how do i make it to automatically log me in ... Thank you,mkta/ Edited February 8, 2014 by mkta
Kytsurai
Unfortunately, you can't login on startup (Well that's a feature lost) I suggest logging in then go to the mods tab and clicking check for updates. Also make sure your NMM isn't blocked by windows firewall or anything, running as admin may also help. Im stuck here waiting for my post to get some replies so ill keep checking here to :)
mkta
They added a new button "check for new mod version" under the install mod and unintall mod buttons. An curved green arrow. After I clicked that it fixed. It was better doing it automatically on start up like it was before. But maybe they did like this to speed up the start-up for people woth lots of mods (like me-70 gb mods-5 min + startup).
Kytsurai
Glad you got it fixed :) And yes i agree but i also have ALOT of heavy mods (50 gigs in my folder ) and around 130 mods. I also think if you load the NMM THEN login it causes less network issues. I notice now i don't get ass many errors when i download with NMM. bben46
Being able to start up without automatically going on line was a heavily requested feature - and it has helped with the site problems. The curved green arrow to immediately check for updates has always been there. The default for NMM is to check for new updates every 3 days - and that was not changed in the new version. However the new version also did not reset the timer for that. Which seems to have caused a lot of panic in people that thought something was wrong. How often it checks can be changed by you to what you want it to be anywhere from 1 day to 7 days Click on the gears icon - the settings screen will appearunder the 'options' sectionThe second selection - ( the first is to check for new updates to the NMM program)Check for new mod versions - interval (in days) ... make sure the box is checked - select how often you want this to happen It will not check until after you go online
