katyah Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) EDIT: Okay Thank the maker I fixed this by running DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam and then DAUServiceSetup_Steam.How can I prevent this issue when I'm going to download mods next time?My apologies if this is a common issue and there's already a thread like this, I just haven't found any. I downloaded and installed the Nexus Mod manager (v0.47.1) and then continued to download an armor mod for DGO (The Phoenix Armory for Females) n together with 'DAO-Modmanager'. I installed the mods, started the game, but I got the message of "This saved game cannot be loaded. It requires the following content:" with a list of all the dlc's that are included in the Ultimate Edition. I tried to see what I could do before I pressed Force Load, but didn't find any help, so I continued to Force Load, just to find that indeed, my dlc content was gone (including armor sets, weapons. My characters daggers are gone, including King Calians armor set, which results in a naked Alistair).I've tried loading a previous save, Saving a new game, and not recently I uninstalled the mods and then uninstalled Nexus Mod Manager completely. I feel like a big noob, I don't know what to do at this point. Loading a earlier save game doesn't seem to help. My first playthrough is just at the point before the Landsmeet. Any suggestions or help are very much appriciated. Let me know if I need to add any additional information. Thanks for reading!
