Level Up Freeze/Load Freeze NOT FOOK2 Based (To My Knowledge)

Hello there! This is a first time post but I seem to have a problem and I could not find a working solution so maybe I am missing something?

 

I modded my Fallout 3 game to an extent and I love it all so far. I also have an ENB going too so you all know.

 

The Problem

 

My game seems to freeze and crash the second I finish leveling up. Thing is, this is early in the game at a lvl 3 to 4 transition.

My game ALSO seems to freeze when loading another save. If I start an older save, and load up to the most recent, it will work as long as it is in the same game.

However, I cannot reload after the most recent save is used unless I restart the game completely. I also cannot use a save of 2 different characters. I have, a male

character in the Anchorage DLC, which crashes when I enter the Chinese Facility. It's weird because I redid the mods and restarted the game because of the crashes

with a new character and all was well until now. I then tried to do a save from the male character in Anchorage, to the new female character I made and it is not possible.

 

The level up freeze is more of a instant, mouse won't move/screen turns white crash/freeze. The loading freeze is at the loading screen, the clock always spinning and won't

do the white screen crash/not responding unless I alt+tab.

desktop, right click /properties, select display settings, If you have software for that vid card, there should be a tab some where in it to turn on and off AA, Turn them both off and retry the game.

Hey thanks for replying!

I actually did all that when I installed the ENB. AA is all off.

I did find a solution though! It was this mod right here:

The second I installed it, not only did my level up crash go away. My loading crash of the Chinese Depot to fight Jingwei in the DLC OA actually loaded on my older account!
I was really happy about that. Thanks for the comment though and sorry, with school and work, I rarely have time to reply on here.

Hello Purr4me, I seem to have another issue. The water, after I noticed it in Megaton at first, seems to be choppy and have black boxes that won't seem to go away.

I took a screenie of that and went to another area with lots of water and the same issue was occurring. The water was all choppy and blocky. I took some more screenies

and I also switched to 3rd person. Any idea what could be causing this? I do have an ENB, I also have a weather mod but it is ENB friendly (DC Moods). Do you think
that could be it?

loading on my cell phone now.

1. Game directory, find. (d3d9.dll) Back it up and move it out, DO NOT delete it.
2. open the explorer, browse to windows and search for this. "d3d9" when it pops up, copy the system32 dll , it should be 1.74 MB in size, place that into the game directory and test." ( d3d9.dll) "

let me know what happens.
