XenocideSoldier Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) So a few weeks ago I noticed a thick dark smoke coming out of my character when I was in Solstheim. It was rather unexpected and seemed to appear after I took a nap. Figuring it would disappear after a while, I played for a bit, installed a few mods, etc. After it didn't disappear, I just sort of played on. While it was annoying, I'm usually in first person and never saw it unless I was running backwards. Now I have several mods that move my camera/make effects more substantial. Now it's in my face and is really annoying and makes archery near-impossible. My mod list is much too large to try disabling/enabling them all. Here's what I've tried:RemoveallitemsGoing through my active effects/spells and disabling likely onesSexchange/Invisibility potions I've gone scoured the internet for answers, with no result. Also it isn't there in newly created characters. This is my main character, and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. Here's an example:http://imgur.com/a/d Edited January 7, 2022 by XenocideSoldier
ZzzZombi Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) I'm not sure if it's just an environmental effect or a magic (blessing, spell, poison) effect. I'm sure you already tried removing effects. Could you try this link: It seems rather detailed on how to remove those.Edit:Here's the part from that link you may try, look for solution 2 or 3 to remove it: ==DRAGONBORN ASH GUARDIAN EFFECT / SKYRIM IMMERSIVE CREATURES ORE GUARDIAN EFFECT== http://static2.nexusmods.com/110/mods/images/14718-1-1364603024.jpg(light brown smoke or fog on the lower body)DLC2AbAshGuardian: xx027BFB (where xx = Dragonborn load order, usually 04)Note: a similar effect to the Ash Guardian is caused by "Ore Guardian Abilities" from "Skyrim Immersive Creatures" mod (thanks to icyicy9999 and Grunker for the ID):Ore Guardian: xx03D527 (where xx = Skyrim Immersive Creatures load order) Edited February 9, 2014 by ZzzZombi
