Description

This mod attempts to make merchants more useful than just to buy the PC’s loot and to overhaul the loot system so that each enemy lair is different and unique to that enemy, as well as make caves, forts, and ruins unique from each other. There is also now a chance that clutter will be equipable as either armor or a weapon.

 

This mod removes gold, armor, weapons, repair hammers and lockpicks from loot lists and containers. It increases the items that vendors have available for sale, and their inventories will now include a chance of receiving enchanted items, new staffs, new torches, lanterns and Ayleid weapons, based upon the original type of items they sold. Mage guild vendors are now able to sell staffs, along with their normal items. Certain smiths will sell lockpicks, similar to the function of a “locksmith” . A new, but rare and expensive potion has been created that cures Vampirism, and is only available at select merchants (Vampire cure script has been modified to allow being infected with vampirism even after taking the cure) .

 

Vampire lairs have new ingredients and human blood vials that are scripted to give the effect of human feeding for vampires and new vampire disease potions which will infect you with Porphyric Hemophilia. Necromancer lairs have black soul gems, necromancer staffs, and new ingredients. Oblivion realms have Daedric staffs, and daedric torches. Ayleid ruins have Ayleid staffs, ayleid torches, and ayleid dishes/clutter.

 

A brief description of each Plugin is below.

 

MALO - Clutter Replacer: Re-prices clutter items that previously had a zero value and modifies the weight of certain items.

 

MALO - Guild Tweaks: Adds ownership to items found in guild halls. Also corrects the FG porter following bug.

 

MALO - Loot Tweaks: Removes repair hammers, lockpicks, armor, and weapons from crates, barrels, and enemy chests. Adds new enemy specific loot to caves, forts, and ruins. Adds chance that clutter items will be equipable.

 

MALO - Vendors Additions: Adds new vendor chests to most merchants. Increased the price of recharging magical items to be a multiple of 2.5 (Vanilla multiple was 1). Increased training cost to a multiple of 17.5 (Vanilla multiple was 10). Increased cost multiple for repairing items to 2.5 (Vanilla multiple was 1).

Unleveled Version:

For players who use a mod that unlevels that game world, use the Unleveled alternate versions to have the new additions unleveled.

 

 

CUO/CURP/DCRP:

MALO - Loot Tweaks: For players who use Cyrodiil Upgrade Overhaul, or any mod by Giskard or Dragon Captions that requires the old Cyrodiil Upgrade Resource Pack or the new Dragon Captions Resource Pack use this alternate version which adds additional staffs to enemy specific lairs, similar to those found in CUO_BadGuySpecificLoot Plugin. CyrodiilUpgradeResourcePack.esm is required.

 

 

Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul:

MALO - Clutter Replacer: Added scripts and changed some icons to be compatable with OOO. However, both mods reprice clutter, but MALO is lower value and reprices more clutter than OOO. If you wish to have OOO prices place before OOO.

 

MALO - Guild Tweaks: OOO also includes guild ownership to items found in guildhalls (although the ranking is slightly different). If prefer to use OOO's ranking, place before OOO (suggested).

 

MALO - Loot Tweaks: Added scripts to containers and torches and added OOO loot were appropriate to be compatable with OOO. Place after OOO.

 

MALO - Vendors Additions: Tweaked settings and added OOO spells to Selenia Orania and Alves Uvenim to make compatable with OOO. Place after OOO.

 

 

Francisco Optional House Chest Loot Plugin:
