2far4
Ok i download blackclaw castle mod, but any save game that had that mod active crashes on save and when i try to load it says save is corrupt. Is there any way i can fix this? Or any program that lets me take that mod out of that save file? I have wrye bash and fooled around with the save a bit but still no luck. Or maybe some one can give me a step by step process. I did notice there is a corrupt save thread but its only for autosaves. Need some serious help to remove this awful burden from my saves. :wallbash:
MikeHibs
You should see if the problem still exists if the mod is deactivated. This should determine if the mod is what is that problem. If it is, you should take a look at the readme file for the mod, and see if it normally has issues like this, or if it has any compatibility issues with another mod that you have. The read me said nothing about crashes, thats the problem i cant save one its deactivated. Its almost like it "burnt" in to my save. It did conflict with some mods but deactivating all conflicting mods along with blackclaw still causes it to crash upon save. Looking at the comments of the mod i am not the only one with this problem
MikeHibs
There isn't much you can do, unless you have a save before you installed the mod.You could ask the creator of the mod if he/she knows anything about it, and if they are planning to make a fix. Other than that, i can't think of anything you can do.
dezdimona
deactivating still leaves the files.you need to phyisically remove all the files to have it "removed"
