piojitoewok Posted August 21, 2003 Share Posted August 21, 2003 Ok i tried a few test runs and its not working, but im going over the script now, at least the window is showing up at the bottom :) figured the topic of the old thread made no sense as to the mod itself so this is a bit better. Ill post a screenshot up as soon as i get it working :) Also i've decided to have both mods together as 1 plugin so they can work simultaniously, maybe in the future ill just make a version where it only shows a window when you deal critical damage, but thats just ideas in my head, i want the base of the system up and stable by at least friday. im VERY obsesed with perfection by the way so it might be a while before i release even a beta, screenshots ill do when i get the first working version. --News--08.09.2003I'm alive!! yes, its hard to believe but im back, and with school starting, i had to find somethign else to do besides homework, so i came back to deal with the code i left stranded alone in the corner of my HD like a lost little puppy :P Anyways: Still same issues as before, just gonna re-do the code :) 22.08.2003Gotta figure out how to get a variable's value to show in message box, gotta fix freezing issues when creature dies. piojitoewok Posted August 22, 2003 Author Share Posted August 22, 2003 well i set the counter in my sig to 1% cause i wanna redo the script, after a bit of brainstorming i think i know a way to make multiple enemies work, only thing is that ANY damage to an enemy would popup a message saying you dealt X damage to them for example if a guard in town helps you out, any damage he does to it as well shows up as you doing damage As for the Critical hits, thats still in the early brainstorming stage as i want to have damage dealt done first and then add the bit of code that would do that part. just felt like giving you guys an update :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
