need help for ctd

I'm new to modding and don't really know much about computer files ,need help i try to start new game but when i select female character game ctd's any suggestions

That happens due to how the Skyrim engine tries to load assets into the racemenu, it doesn't really like high quality content (example - Apachii Hairs that you use), so it results into crashes when you try to switch gender, scroll through options etc.

 

Try installing "DisableFaceGenCache" from the optional download section of Racemenu OR ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer, only one, since both do the same thing. They should help greatly with loading race menu assets.

How did you install Devious Devices Assets? I tried extracting the whole file into the steamapps\common\skyrim\data where the rest of my mods are, but I can't get Devious Devices - Assets .esm? to show up.
