Doomsdaylee
I'm an avid writer, and I'd love to see a multitude of my characters with one another for pose shots, or even for fighting with one another, though I doubt that's possible. I know it's easy enough to dress NPCs/companions, but is there any way to change their hair or face? If there is, I searched, and couldn't find anything. Please Link me to it if possible. If not, why not make it!?
rdamstrom
are we talking about in game changes or using cs to mod there appearance.getting companions to fight isn't as hard as getting them to stop sometimes and what of your writing are you writing story's for your characters if so I might be interested.I making a companion mod to serve as a base for making more interesting companions and possibly a new type of quest. Doomsdaylee
At the moment, it's just for pictures for fans of my work, like to make scenes from my stories in Oblivion. However, if it works, I might try to make a story for a mod series.
Doomsdaylee
For all those interested, I found out how to do this. Simply use the console command showracemenu and change yourself to what you want your other actors to look like, equip the cloths you want them to wear, than use player.createfullactorcopy to split them off into another being. Use showracemenu again to change into your next character, or yourself, and than pose the models accordingly. I've found copy's to have no individual AI, meaning they shouldn't wander off on their own, or pick fights UNLESS you attack them first. They also have 100 disposition to you. You can use this mod (http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3066) to recruit the other yous (your other actors) where you want them, than use a posing mod, such as Actors in charge (http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6239) to pose them how you like them, thus enabling shots of multiple characters of your design interacting. I've found one flaw with this method so far: Using the Burmecian mod (http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22725) and trying to go from Burmecian to any other race causes the faces to look really squished and funkified, so I'd recommend (if you must use one that does something like that) creating a new game for the sole purpose of videos/pictures, and use the testing hall (Player.coc testinghall in the command console) to dress/arm your characters. If you need doubles of the armor, just make a clone using the copy command above, than use the Kill console command to kill him and take the armor. ENJOY!! =D
