DEagle62 Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 So, I wanted to use Morrowind Graphics Extender. I re-installed my GOTY edition, and then downloaded the 1.6 patch. It started and said it was successful, but MGE says it isn't updated. When I start the game, the number in the bottom left corner is 1.5.2 or something. Why won't the patch work? Sometimes for these patches to work they need the original version of the game .exe file. Try installing the game fresh in a different location on your PC and then copy the fresh .exe to your normal location. Your patch should take then.
