wholegrain
I think the only thing missing is a mod that allows you to fish dynamically like in Zelda. Also, why does no one uses kickstarter to fund their project to get better audio?
McclaudEagle
Modders are not legally allowed to request any form of financial backing or payments when it comes to mods, so a Kickstarter campaign would almost immediately get shot down by Bethesda. wholegrain
huh why? why would they care?
McclaudEagle
Because it states clearly in their EULA regarding mods that mod authors must not profit, charge for, or request funding for mods. I expect it's mostly to do with copyright. Besides, allowing modders to sell their mods would result in modding turning from a fun, friendly experience into another 'business', in which people wouldn't share, and would be desperately trying to make money.
