bluegenre
Also you should really clean those dirt edits man, they can get you into a world of trouble.
zuluthedrew
Ya know. I'm kind of nervous to clean them, because I've done that in the past and it has caused problems. I know it could have well been a mistake on my part that caused them, but it has performed through my stress test well. I visit all of the holds, let scripts run for about 5 minutes. go to windhelm docks. spawn 100+ guards. speed mult 500 and tgm and dash across the map. not even having problem loading grids as it is set up. that doesn't mean that something isn't broken. i'm just assuming it isn't. Thanks for the advice. I'm going to wait on doing that until I find something broken because of it.
ripple
1) there are no ill effects to cleaning, as long as it is done properly and you do not repeat clean.UDR records can cause CTDs (although the chance a mod would reference a deleted reference in the DLC and update esm's are extremely unlikely to nil. UDR records in mods, on the other hand, must always be cleaned without exceptions). 2) you need a Bashed Patch (you said you use one but I don't see it in the BOSS log). 3) what do you normally do with the plugins not recognized by BOSS? zuluthedrew
So I build the bash patch behind the unrecognized plugins and leave them at the end, then add realistic weapon positions according to the instructions on its page.
ripple
No, you need to figure out what to do with the unrecognized plugin first, before you (re)build your Bashed Patch, which is why I am asking what you normally do with them. I infer from your response that you simply allow them to load at the end of your load order, and let them override any conflicting plugins in your load order. This is obviously not a good idea. First, download the 'BOSS Userlist Manager.' Add a custom rule for Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.espand have it loaded immediately before Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.espuntil the BOSS database is updated to reflect the new IA v7 plugin. For the other unrecognized plugins, you should check them out in TES5Edit. Load all of your plugins, and compare their records. See if there are any conflicting records between the unrecognized plugins and the other plugins in your load order. If there are no conflicting records, then the unrecognized plugin can be loaded any where in the load order above your dynamically generated compatibility patches (e.g. Bashed Patch). If there are conflicts, then you need to decided, based on the nature of the conflict, which mod should override which (conflicting records of plugins loaded later will override conflicting records of plugins loaded earlier in the load order). zuluthedrew
Thanks for the suggestions. I've since discovered a few mistakes I made. Thanks ripple and bluegenre for the suggestions. I took your advice, and cleaned the master files, and rearranged several of the unrecognized plugins according to the information I could find. For anyone checking out the post, the above list is mostly stable, but I would recommend taking the advice given by these two. skyfalls and skymills both esps behind the unofficial high resolution esps hothtrooper ecksstra before hothtrooper armor compilation esp and RLO dawnguard weathers behind RLO Dawnguard Interiors Equipping Overhaul, I leave at the end. I'm not sure where it belongs. Also, with the 4.25 alpha of EO and Realistic weapon positions combined there are several bugs like one handed swords showing up on the back and more that make them incompatible. If using the alpha, I recommend not using RWP. The crossbow placement papyrus errors are from RWP. Edited March 4, 2014 by zuluthedrew
