Britanol
I need a bit of help. Every time I go into the Fallout ini file, it wont let me change anything. Whenever I change the 0 to a 1 in "binvalidateolderfiles=" I try to save and an error message pops up saying: "Cannot create the C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Fallout_default.ini file. Make sure the path and file name are correct." Is there any way I can fix this? Oh, I'm running Windows Vista and Archiveinvalidation Invalidated! Doesn't work if I have Fallout saved in my Program Files. :thanks: in advance
Cipscis
You're trying to edit the wrong file. The "Fallout_default.ini" file is the one that Fallout 3 uses to regenerate its ini file should it be deleted. The file that you want to edit can be found in the same directory as your "Saves" folder, which can be found under My Documents/Documents (depending on your OS) Documents/My Games/Fallout3 (just noticed that you've said you're using Vista) Cipscis
