Game crash after ArchiveInvalidation

Hi,

I've installed some new weapons and got problems with the textures. After I've toggled ArchiveInvalidation via FOMM the game crashes on quicksave and loading new areas (houses, etc) or it freezes while loading.

did i do something wrong?

What can i do to play with new weapons and textures?

Fallout 3 v. 1.6

Could be a corupted save game

which went corupted an hour or more before the save was created

Don't quicksave or autosave...

I wouldn't overwrite saves either, create new ones

and keep about 15 or more of them.

did you toggle archive invalidation before or after you installed the mods

it probalby doesn't matter, and I think you only have to do it once which is great

What is the load order for your moddies

if you right click the FOMM load order list you can copy an paste it

The order is pretty important

but also what it is that you are running.

To play with new weapons an textures

You kind of have to learn what is going to conflict, and even then you miss stuff

an have to go back an fix it.

Pretty much you wana make really clean installs of mods

which is hard to learn

you can read pinned threads here on the forum

there's also a old mod called the ultimate load order

which is like a guide

but it will teach you how to make clean installs

later on you can delete it all when you get tired of it

an use what you learned to install whatever you want

but you might find something better in the pinned threads

I'd check the propertys for my bethesda file to make sure it

wasnt' set to read only, toggle the invalidator off an on again

and try again then either roll back or start over on the game

Post your load order first or the names of the stuff you installed an how an all that

maybe we can figure out what's going on :D
