game crashing, cant figure out which mod doing it

itsa fresh install of windows xp and the game, fully updated both windows and fallout.

 

cpu: athlon x2 5600

Ram: 2GB ddr2 800

Hdd: 74gb raptor 10k rpm drive

Gpu: asus radeon 4870 512mb

 

before this install it worked fine but i never used mods before, but this time around i jumped on the band wagon.

as a side note i have a body replacer, and i do have fose running even though i have no idea what it does nor how to use it lol

 

i usually cant get far outside the vault before it happens if im in the springfield area it usually happens sooner.

Aye, we're out here but we've seen this post many, many times. :P

 

The answer will always be the same and you won't like it but it's really the only one.

 

You need to take your game back to a "clean", un-modded version and then add mods slowly until you find the culprit. There are just too many anomalies which can crop up between various mods to do it any other way.

 

I would also strongly advise that when you have uninstalled and reinstalled and have your "clean" version, you make a backup of your data directory so that should you need to do this again in the future, you can usually save the uninstall and reinstall steps by just restoring your clean data folder.
