deastrom
While I don't necessary like Harkon, I liked the idea of fulfilling the prophecy of plotting out the sun. Imagine taking out the Dawnguard, then killing Harkon. Once that's complete, you decide to lock up Serena and hand THE Bow off to one of your NPC minions (loyal of course, maybe the moth priest) and instructing him to fire the blood-soaked arrows into the sun daily. Could even convince Serena to sacrifice her mother, leading her to believe that her mother could take the vampire horde away from your own amazing leadership. Let me know what you think :D. Errornamenotfound
I'm curious, does fulfulling the prophecy require the sacrifice of a pure-blood vampire? I can't remember anyone saying that Serana HAD to be sacrificed, just her blood needed. Anyway if the dragonborn could come up with such a diabolical plan, NEVER trust anyone. Keep the bow and perform the ritual yourself. But how about bringing Serana to the shrine of Boethiah and trapping her where you'd normally sacrifice your follower (after the quest of course). Seeing that Molag Bal and Boethiah are, well, enemies, maybe she'd be willing to help her champion despite him being a vampire. Then you can visit from time to time to harvest Serana's blood for the arrows. (Oh I am so evil) If pure-blood vampires are called daughters of coldharbour, and your character is a female and pure-blood, won't it mean you can make yourself the bloodcursed arrows? Couple of extra ideas to consider
reyzark
for what i understood the daughters of coldharbour are not only pure blood vampires, but a human who was turned vampire by the ritual ( of rape) on the summoning of molog bal. so your character couldnt be one of them. But that would break so much of the Dawnguard questline in my head that my mind would be spinning.
firepower02
How much blood of Serana does it take to permanently blot out the sun? Does it have to be done daily? Isn't there a one time time affair?
