Die and wake up in Sovngarde

Hi I'm new and I'm not a great code smith (modder) BUT:

Here's an idea for a mod. When you're doing the Civil War attack/defence on Whiterun and get killed, your vision pans down to the ground and you pass out and it says "You're unable to continue the fight" or something like that. And then you wake up somewhere else.
So here's the the mod idea: why not use that same mechanic to make you wake up in Sovngarde when you die in battle? Then you can just use a door or something to escape to the land of the living again. :)

Thoughts?

One does not simply escape from Shor's land of the dead. Kind of lore-breaking-say you die in battle for Whiterun, if fighting for the Imperials, does this mean the Stormcloaks win? Does this mean you have to take back Whiterun? Though maybe you could get Tsun to turn back the clock and he'll shout you back to your last save. You even get to re-use the original dialogue. Just some thoughts I'd like to add.

I mean this more as a stand alone thing. The battle for Whiterun I just mentioned because of the involved mechanic.

A modder could add that someone or Tsun saying "It's not your time yet", or you're simply given the choice to return to Tamriel. Since you know, Alduin scared Shor away.

I know that, but how does it work? If you die during a quest say, battle for whiterun, and you return, where will you be? How much time has elapsed? What happened to the battle? If you're not there, the battle will be lost. If you revive where you died, chances are you'll die again if during a boss fight, or you'll be able to resurrect indefinitely and kill the boss.

Another point of interest, what happens when you die during the main quest Dragon Slayer? Or specifically, what happens when you die IN SOVNGARDE?

I think there will be a conflict with the machanic if you're doing the battle of whiterun. Otherwise I'd just think that instead of dying and reloading the last load, you'll wake up in Sovngarde and can escape - or stay awhile.
