Overwriting textures/meshes in OBMM

Ok, so I decided to install OOO 1.33! I downloaded the OBMM version, and it's all ready to be installed. It's just that there are several data conflicts with files from the UOP (like "cowlofthegrayfox\helmet.dds" and "dwarven\m\greaves_gnd.nif"). My question is if I should overwrite these UOP files with the OOO versions. Will this make any noticeable difference? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I say go ahead and overwrite. the .dds sounds like just a retexture for a helmet, and a new greaves mesh sounds fine since it will just replace the shape of the stock greaves.
