Just installed Oblivion, but keeps crashing

I installed Oblivion, KOTN & S-Isles, then installed new mods (as per the correct method), however, it wouldn't load.

 

So I uninstalled it all, installed Oblivion without the expansions & or any mods what-so-ever, but it still keeps crashing everytime I try & load it.

 

Any ideas?

first, you need to remove all the Oblivion info left behind when you uninstalled.this has to be done manually. then add the vanilla stuff,then patch your game accordingly if at all,depends on which version you have. Then add one mod make sure it works in game before adding another and so on.

Adiing mods without verifying that the game even functions is a bad idea
