I cant seem to find an easy thread that explains how to get it all to work, yes I looked... Thanks!
rdamstrom
maybe you should try getting one mod to work first the more mods you have the greater the chance your going to have problems. some of those mods are quite complicated and hard for a beginner. Wrye Bash can be used to solve many problems but it is not for beginers. and not all mods are compatible. do any of these mods require OBSE
bben46
First, you don't say if Oblivion worked without any mods. If it doesn't then mods will not work either. You will need OBSE (Oblivion Script Extender) installed for many mods. Note this is not a mod, and does not install like a mod so read the instructions before installing. And to use OBSE, you must always start using OBSE and not Oblivion. Available here: http://obse.silverlock.org/

OOO is difficult to get to work properly and Qarls takes a little knowledge also.Start small and work your way up,you'll be happier.

spazer
Ok, installed vanilla game and the latest official patch. Oblivion works great! So now what, install the OBSE (oblivion script extender) ? Then I want to install, at some point, the mods that I mentioned in my first post. Any particular order? Thanks! rdamstrom
it doesn't hurt to have OBSE installed even if you don't need it now you probable will at some pointafter that Oblivion mod manager is a must with it you can turn on/off most mods just by checking or unchecking the esp or esm . after that try installing the easiest one first make sure you have all the stuff to install it. many mods require other mods to work.
