Deleted945028User Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 The game CTD when entering a new cell no error messages come up.Places I have seen this: Megaton, Lamplight Grand Chamber, Lamplight Office. While playing the game I kept getting crashes when going into the Little Lamplight Grand Chamber. Well I decided to disable all mods And thought the fastest way would be to disable ArchiveInvalidation after that the Grand Chamber loaded like a dream not only that I was getting less lag. I decided to go for a walk in the wastes for more testing and ended up in Bigtown and noticed that a NPC I added in a mod was still there. so I started to check out other mods I still had loaded most still worked great. Only a few had a problem all of them were texture based. So the best way right now to fix it is to disable ArchiveInvalidation before entering the location in the location an then enable it when I am done there but this gets to be a pain. So my questions are.Is there a better work around?Why would ArchiveInvalidation cause a crash?Why is ArchiveInvalidation needed at all?And why would it only affect some cells? Deleted945028User Posted July 29, 2009 Author Share Posted July 29, 2009 Sorry seems I misspoke I do use FOMM but always thought they just done all the dirty work for the user but done pretty much the same thing.
