Help with mods please?

Let me start out by saying I love oblivion. I have it on the 360 and ps3, and I finally go it for the computer. The reason for this is: MODS. From what I understand, I need some sort of mod manager, and some sort of overhaul. I have compiled the mods that look interesting to me, if they cannot co-exist, please tell me which to pick. Like should I pick Unnecessary Violence, or Deadly reflexes, they both alter the fighting system, and I presume they will have conflict.

You will need OBSE (Oblivion Script Extender)

OBMM (Oblivion Mod manager)

And the latest official patch before you start with mods.

 

Many mods will not work or will crash without either OBSE or the patch. And OBMM is needed to set the order mods load in (important when you have more than two or three mods)

 

Then, do NOT think you can save time by loading a bunch of mods all at once. That is a sure way to waste time trying to figure out what went wrong. Load one at a time, then test to be sure it works. Then load and test the next.

 

As to which mods you should get. That is very subjective. Not everyone likes the same things. There are many compilations made as to what others think are good to have, and most are completely different.
