Wizards Alliance team is seeking Game Designers/World Builders folk to help development on new TC roleplaying project for TES:Oblivion. This is position to design the implementation of gameplay elements and world setting development .

We are also seeking talented concept artists.

It would be helpfull if you are familiar with ad&d setting.

Philosophy

 

 

With this Total Conversion, for The Elder scrolls: Oblivion, we are trying to create a role-playing experience similar to Baldur’s’ Gate and Fallout games had. We will try to take best from all role-playing games to date and combine it into one solid old school rpg experience. Custom world setting itself will be inspired from numerous fantasy games, books, movies and games. We want to create world that is real but at same time got exciting story with multiple endings and deep plot. We will give our best to make world setting very detailed. This could force us to sacrifice on a main plot and some aspects of gameplay. We will try our best to achieve balance between those very important factors.

What is the game?

 

Total Conversion of The Elder scrolls: Oblivion game.

Why create this game?

 

We love role-playing games and see Oblivion as a great opportunity to develop Rpg game, so we want to make something as breathtaking and interesting as for example Tolkien or R.A.Salvatore books.

 

Where does the game take place?

 

The game takes place in custom world that is distantly previously known from our first project

Wizards Islands : The Scourge of the Frostbringer. This isn’t a sequel so world will be adapted for our current visions and greatly expanded.

 

What do I control?

 

Player will control a character that will be generated from scratch using Oblivion’s original character generation tools.

 

How many characters do I control?

 

Main character + possible mercenaries, pets and summons.

What is the main focus?

 

Main focus is to give players a new breathtaking story to experience in new environments, we aren’t trying to make fantasy life simulation, but we sure do want it to be more than just a main quest. We will try hard to balance between simulation and storytelling.

 

What’s different?

 

Different for sure will be scale of this project compared to others, but not at cost of details. We also believe that most Rpg games don’t really concentrate well on non-linear plot. To put this short the goal is to have a really interesting world with really interesting main plot with many twists and side quests.

 

We already have some work done of course and have many talanted modders aboard. I guess WI release also back up our reputation, that this isnt some vaporware or idea by 13years old teenager who wants it all without doing nothing.
