avallanche Posted February 16, 2014 Share Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) I usually don't use fast travel, and although there are many great vehicles mods out there, I feel that the game misses a more easy way of transportation. Since there are many train engines and almost intact railroad tracks throughout the mojave wasteland, and that according to Chomps, what they dig is shipped off by train to the strip, makes sense that some of this trains would still be functional. I dont kwon anything about mod making, so I dont even kwon if its possible, but my idea is a functionally train station, with fixed schedule and stuff, following the main railroad track. Maybe a quest to fix the railroad or the train engine... A lore-friendly way of crossing the mojave. I imagine that since it would be a fixed route and most of the resources are already ingame, it wouldn't be that hard, but like I said, I dont kwon anything about this. There is a mod that already do that partially, but it uses a fast travel system. I was thinking about a real-time trip.
